Using the breath and mindful movement, we’ll tap into our innate ability to take in exactly what we need and to effortlessly let go of anything we don’t. This class builds on the honesty and trust we cultivated last week while exploring healthy boundaries and uses intervals of "work" and "rest" as a way to recalibrate the nervous system.
*Please note that at 0:58, Cait misspeaks - the sympathetic nervous system is often called the “fight or flight” (not the “rest and digest”) and can also be thought of as our “get things done” mode. The parasympathetic nervous system, as she mentions, is what we call the “rest and digest” recovery mode.
