Interview: Travelling to Unknown Places with (IamNoMad) Alexandre Marcouiller
Meet one-half of adventure duo I am nomad. They have two missions:
– live life to the fullest
– Inspire people to go outside
Travelling is multidimensional – it’s not about taking a vacation, but rather adopting a different way of living. What is it that makes travelling so life-changing? Why is it so addictive? The answer is clear and simple – When you travel, you live in the present moment. Nothing else matters but what is happening in the now. For a few days, weeks or months, you truly and fully live in state of complete self-awareness.
And these guys don’t pick your typical palm-tree-and-coconut travel destinations. Think; Iceland in the wintertime. Think, two dudes in a tent with only each other for company for months on end. Think, balancing ‘getting the shot’ with ‘being here.’
There’s a lot of lessons. And we got them all.
