Did you know that most of us ingest the equivalent of a credit cards worth of plastic each week? This affects our hormones, our health and even our future children. Plastics have even been found in human placentas. If you’re a surfer, a traveler, or really, just a citizen of the planet, you’ve likely noticed ocean plastic pollution is a massive problem for our earth, for our health, and for future generations.
Caitlin Creeper speaks to writer, photographer and marine litter expert Nikkey Dawn on what we can do to start to fight the ocean plastics problem without drowning in overwhelm, burnout and eco anxiety.
